Privacy policy

Short version: the only personal details this site collects are the ones you type into the inspection form. They go to one company, Acculevel, so it can call you about your request. They are never sold, rented or shared with other contractors or lead brokers.

Who operates this site

Basement & Foundation (basementandfoundation.com) is operated on behalf of Acculevel, which performs the inspections and repairs requested through it. Questions about this policy can be sent to office@acculevel.com.

What we collect

• What you give us on the form: ZIP code, the problem you selected, your name, phone number, email address, and anything you type in the notes.
• How you got here: the page you landed on, the page the form was on, the site that referred you (if any), and campaign tags in the address, stored in your browser for up to 90 days and sent with the form. This lets us know which pages are useful and does not identify you by itself.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and time, used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising cookies or trackers, and we do not collect payment details.

How we use it

• To contact you about the inspection you requested and to schedule it.
• To keep a record of your request and of your consent to be contacted.
• To understand which pages of the site lead to requests, in aggregate.

Who receives it

Your details are delivered to Acculevel and stored in its customer system. Service providers that host this site and the systems behind it process the data on our behalf and under contract; they do not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other contractors, lead networks or data brokers.

Calls, texts and email

When you tick the consent box, you agree that Acculevel may call, text or email you about your request, including with automated technology. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, asking the caller to stop, or emailing office@acculevel.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

How long we keep it

Request details are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for the period required for business records and consent evidence, then deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or opt out of further contact, by emailing office@acculevel.com. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law allows. We do not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Children

This site is for homeowners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
